Swallows Depart from San Juan Capistrano Day

Birds can fly gracefully and sing with the trees every day. Swallows will be nesting at San Juan Capistrano in Orange County, California, on October 23. Swallows are excellent insect hunters, and many species visit agricultural lands and other human-altered landscapes in search of food and nesting grounds. An interesting legend about the San Juan Capistrano church in California and the swallows exists. Father St. John O’Sullivan provided sanctuary for the birds, and they started visiting the church every year from that year. Holidays And Observance
