Highlighted Holiday

DON'T STEP ON A BEE DAY

Human beekeeping dates back to ancient Egypt and Greece, and bees have always been part of our stories. Don’t Step On A Bee Day, celebrated in the United States and the United Kingdom, is more than avoiding stepping on bees. It’s a day to raise awareness about the importance of bees and the threats they face. Pesticides, pollution, and habitat destruction endanger bees, and educating people about their conservation is crucial. Protecting bees is vital, as their disappearance could have far-reaching consequences for our ecosystems.
