WORLD MOTORCYCLE DAY

Did you know the first motorcycle, a steam-powered invention by Pierre Michaux in Paris in 1860, marked a significant milestone in transportation history? This was the beginning of a journey that led to the creation of the first internal combustion motorcycle in 1885, a pivotal moment that propelled motorcycles into the mainstream.

Interestingly, motorcycles were even used in wars for messaging and battles. The first production motorcycle hit the market in 1894, and by the turn of the century, manufacturers like Royal Enfield entered the scene. They converted bicycles by adding small, center-mounted spark plug engines, also called pedal revs.

Fast forward to today, and motorcycles are used for commuting, transportation, entertainment, and delivery. They are popular due to their great gas mileage, small size, and easy storage, making them ideal for apartment living.
